Insight Guides South Korea ebook

Insight Guides South Korea ebook

The wonderful artwork aside - this game has it all. Educational (for me the teacher)and high interest fun (for students)and can be played by 2 or more because the rules have included how to do this.
With five levels of play, anyone in my class can have fun and learn some chemistry while engaging higher level thinking to beat their opponent. We could get started quickly playing the element level and as they were ready for more sophisticated play, we moved to the next level.
I enjoy Magic the Gathering and this has some of those elements while still teaching about the Periodic Table. Love the blank cards so they can create new characters (wonderful writing assignment to tie in with science)
Box is sturdy as well as the cards. Good thing cuz play can get intense when everyone is down to the last card or too. Very clever having the discard pile called the toxic waste dump too. Did not feel or look cheesy at all.
So glad I got this!

  3. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a DK Eyewitness Travel guide fanatic. I have a lot of their guides now and have seen a huge chunk of the world with and through them. So woe is me, when I was supposed to go to South Korea and discovered that DK ET doesn't have a guide for this beautiful country. I went to several bookstores and looked for all guides that I can find on SK. By far, the one I liked the most is this one. I'm a very visiual person, so this guide appealed to my need for illustrations, photos, and all things ocular. Loved the country and this guide was helpful in preparing me for my trip. I find that I used it less while I actually in the country, than before I got there, but it served its purpose. Not sorry I got it.

  4. I thought this book was very insightful! It had wonderful pictures and a good breadth of material. It is great if you want to travel around South Korea (not as informative if you actually want to move there) but a good read nonetheless. I do think the book could have gone more in depth, but for covering the basics and getting comfortable with South Korea as a whole, I thought this book was fantastic.
