If you have lower back problems then the Elite Fitness Inversion Table could help you like it did me. I am 72 years old with recurring lower back issues 2 or 3 times a year. My last trip to the Dr. I was given prescriptions for muscle relaxers and told to consult a physical therapist.; Instead, I decided to try an inversion table which arrived 8 days later. After 3 days of use I noticed improvement and after 7 days of use (20 minutes twice a day) I stopped my medication. It worked so well I have now resumed my normal routine, and even though my back is still a little tender this definitely beats 2 or 3 trips a week to a physical therapist. You might also need to wait a short while after each meal before you use it to avoid any reflux. The table took me about an hour to assemble. It might have gone quicker but I had to sit in a chair while putting it together because my back hurt so bad. Fortunately I had a socket wrench which I used and one of the cheap wrenches furnished in the kit to hold the bolt while I turned the head. If you only use the wrenches included it will take you 4 or 5 hours to assemble it. The instruction are clear and the nuts and bolts for each step are packaged separately. The design and assembly of the table is more than adequate. However, the Chinese nuts and bolts are of poor quality steel and you should be careful not to over-tighten them thereby eliminating an unnecessary trip to the hardware store. I also suspect the ankle foam pads may not last much more than a year and will need to be replaced. However, I fully expect this table to last as long as I do. You can spend a lot more for a table that may or may not help you but this table will meet all of your requirements for both a short and long term basis. Bottom line, this is one of the better investments I have made.

DRAGONOLOGY.....This book is BEAUTIFUL!!!, February 20, 2004

I'm a 6th grade art teacher. A student brought the book for me to see, shortly after Christmas. I left it laying on the corner of my desk, and walked away. Looking back, I spotted 5 students gathered around it whispering quietly, (and my students don't whisper quietly).
And so it went, through the day....through the week...They were ENGROSSED!...puzzles, riddles, dragon runes...secret formulas....
Well, I have to say, I ordered one for my class, one for myself, and one for a friend, and my students are conspiring to get up a HUMONGOUS order for DRAGONOLOGY.
From age 7 to 170.....it's a great fantasy and art book.

Oceanology Account Voyage Nautilus Ologies

It all starts with a letter. Young Zoticus deLessups, in a message dated March 25, 1863, was invited by Professor Pierre Aronnax to join him as his assistant on "an important voyage of discovery." Aronnax, a friend of the 16-year-old deLessups's father, hopes the trip, one of oceanic research, will be educational and productive. Zoticus sets out from Marseille to Cadiz where he finds The Nautilus and Captain Nemo awaiting his arrival. So begins the richest and most inventive book in the 'Ology series so far.

Combining science, history and adventure, OCEANOLOGY explores the facts and fictions of the earth's oceans and uses the Jules Verne classic TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA as a clever framework. The idea here is that the fictional Professor Aronnax, Captain Nemo and others from the Verne novel were real figures, and Verne himself learned about them, and the fate of The Nautilus, from Zoticus deLessups (Verne having taken the name from the famous developer of the Suez Canal, Ferdinand deLessups), who lived out the rest of his life in an asylum after having created the journal that is OCEANOLOGY. As far-fetched as the setup seems, it works well here. For young readers there is the adventure of Zoticus to draw them in and the science of the ocean to keep them fascinated.

Though the book is the supposed record of the journey, it is filled with amazing information on marine biology (a seabed map, charts on ocean life at various depths, introductions to concepts such as the thermal cycle, surface currents and much, much more). Readers will also glean knowledge about navigation and navigational tools, the history of diving, coral reefs, plate tectonics, and fanciful topics like mythical ocean beasts and the myth of Atlantis.

The Victorian-era drama and aesthetic are perfectly captured in the tone of the writing and in the gorgeous illustrations. Like all the 'Ology books, this one is full of treasures and treats: tiny books within the book, fold-out maps, envelopes containing letters, gold coins and games. Most of the pictures are rendered in lovely muted colors, and the fonts are pleasing and readable. Many of the pages have texture as well; this is a wonderful book to hold and explore. The thoughtful editors have seen fit to footnote a few references, which helps to bridge the world of Verne's fiction and the realities of history and science.

Zoticus deLessups is a wonderful guide --- wide-eyed, excited and full of wonder. Much joy and much misery befall him between the letter that opens the tale and the one that lets readers know of his fate. Curious young minds will surely close the cover of this book only to open the cover of Verne's version of the events. OCEANOLOGY is a great introduction to the world of the seas and to a foundational work of science fiction.

Five Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, January 15, 2012

A Kid's Review

This is the best Egypt book so far. It has so much info but is easy to read with lots of cool pictures and activities. I would recommend this for people who have an Egypt report due and need info on Ancient Egyptian religion. It has a huge chapter on it. All other books briefly mention religion and mostly talk about the gods but this book talks about the gods and other things religion like temples, festivals, the burial of a king, the afterlife, etc. This book is GREAT!!

This table is really quite impressive for the money. It is substantial and has more presence than indicated in the pictures. The sturdy base is about 10 inches in diameter. The table has nice details, such as the claw feet, and molding around the table top. But the details are subtle and it doesn't look overdone. It was easy to put together, only taking me about 20 minutes. You simply bolt the base or pedestal to the table top, then attach the legs. I purchased the black finish, and am happy overall. It is a true black finish, with no antique or rubbed edges. The table top has almost no grain pattern to it, which was a minor dissapointment. It is super smooth and shows dust very easily. I was worried it may scracth easily too, but the finish does seem pretty durable with no scratches so far. The table was packaged very well, shipped quickly, and with no damage to speak of. This is a great table and a great value.
