Love this bag!

JJ Cole Satchel Diaper Stone

JJ Cole Satchel Diaper Stone

Diaper bag is very cute! I got the Aspen Arbor one and the green is pretty true to color on my monitor. The white area is more of a creme color than white but it's still cute. Plenty of pockets on the outside and the inside is very roomy. Baby won't be here until July so I won't know exactly how much fits in it until then but I'd say enough for wallet, keys, some make-up, plenty of diapers, blanket, snacks, bottles, and some other stuff. I'll update later and put a list of everything I managed to fit in it.

UPDATE!!!

I've been using this diaper bag for a little over 6 months now. I still think it is very roomy! It cleans pretty easily too although it hasn't gotten extremely dirty yet. I haven't had any issues with not having enough space for everything either.

And to give you an idea, this is what I carry with me on a typical outting: 5 diapers, a small pack of diaper wipes, a receiving blanket, a box of bags to put dirty diapers in, an extra outfit, 5 Playtex Ventaire bottles, a can of formula, the messenger straps, my wallet and keys and phone, an OBall Rattle, a regular sized rattle, a bib, a box of travel sized Johnson products, and some paperwork on my daughter's doctor's visits. So yes, you can fit tons in it.

I also have people compliment me on the bag a lot and most people have to actually ask me if it's a purse or diaper bag because they can't tell. My friend has a Vera Bradley diaper bag - which I almost bought instead of this one - and I must say that I don't like hers as much as mine. It's smaller and gets really dirty easily.

  1. I bought this as a baby shower gift for my sister. I liked that it didn't really look like a diaper bag which is what I wanted as a mom but never found. So when I came across this I made sure to get it for her. She loves it. Durable, cute and does its job!

  2. When I got pregnant with my second child I started looking for a new (and bigger) diaper bag. This one is perfect. It's super cute and a great size for all of baby, toddler and mommy's things. My oldest isn't potty trained yet, and I was worried about finding a bag big enough for two sets of diapers/clothes. I put diapers, creams and wipes in two of the side pockets along with the included diaper pad. On the other side I have a small first aid kit, cosmetic case, hand sanitizer, etc. There is more than enough room in the middle for my pocket book, sunglasses, snacks and any toys that I need to bring along. I can keep a coupon book or any other paper work for doctors visits, school, etc. in the outer pockets.

Lastly I just love the color and style of the bag, I have gotten a lot of compliments on it! Anyone looking for a big bag with lots of storage pockets should definitely take a look at this bag.

  3. Let me start by saying I have a Petunia Picklebottom bag that cost me $175 and this one is 50 million times better. Easier access, more pockets, lighter and all around more functional. I get compliments everywhere I go with it!

  4. This is my second diaper bag. My first was much smaller, and suitable for a newborn. But now that my daughter is older (8 months), and I have more stuff to tote around, this larger bag really suits us well. I can easily fit diapers, wipes, change of clothes, blankets, food, and toys. There are enough pockets to keep organized and a large open space in the middle. I also really like the shoulder straps and removable longer strap so I can wear the bag across my body if I have a lot of other things (like a car seat) to carry. Overall, a stylish but really functional bag.

  6. I get compliments on this bag everywhere I go! I've had many diaper bags (currently on baby #4), and none have been as good as this. Very roomy, but not bulky. Stylish and neutral, so it goes with anything. Even my husband likes it because it's not pastel or girly.

  7. If you're looking for a quality, stylish diaper bag with plenty of space, this is it! It fits comfortably under the shoulder and has multiple pockets for storage of all sorts of items. The side pockets on the outside are insulated and the bag has a cute pink interior with matching changing pad. I can tell I am going to love using it!

  8. I have 3 kids under 3 so I have carried a diaper bag constantly for the last 3 years. This is the third bag I've owned and I've found a winner! My favorite features are:
    1. Messenger strap - this allows me to easily carry the bag hands free while I'm holding kids hands or carrying things too and from the car. A definite must for me.
    2. Lots of pockets - both interior and exterior. I like lots of exterior pockets for sippy cups, my phone and keys, binkies, etc. things I want to access quickly. Lots of interior pockets to organize diapers, wipes, snacks, etc. this bag delivers on both fronts.
    3. Wide vs. deep. I find that deep diaper bags tend to become a bottomless pit where things get lost - this bag is long not deep and keeps things more accessible.
    4. Roomy but not bulky. You can fit a LOT in this bag, but when I wear it I don't feel like its so bulky that I'll take out anyone I walk past.
    5. Colorful lining - black lining is another recipe for lost items in the bag - my bag came with green lining so it's easy to see what's inside.
    6. Stroller grips. I love the JJ Cole stroller grips - they stay in place and its very easy to attach or remove the bag.
    7. Pattern. It doesn't hurt that the bag is so cute. I want to carry it even when I go out without my kids!

    So far no complaints here!
